Penguins and parapluies

Here are some Glasgow standard-issue black umbrellas taken yesterday evening only a couple of minutes before Mac posted the entry linked to above. There was something about 5 identical umbrellas (only 4 showing) and the light that meant that I had to try to capture this instant. Earlier in the day, I'd missed a scene with a little girl at the bus in front of mine waving and pulling faces at the driver of my bus. Rather like the racehorse joining the cycle race in Amélie, it was one of those beautiful self-contained moments ...
